International Event Project Management Based on Hybrid Methodology

This work intends to describe the project management methodologies used for events, identify critical points and provide the basis for developing a specific methodology for event management. The purpose of the work is to define a framework for managing event projects, and recommendations for the subsequent creation of standardization. The work consists of two chapters. In the first chapter of this work, the methodological foundations of project management are analyzed: traditional approaches from international and Russian standards, the Agile framework and a hybrid methodology are examined, and the comparative advantages and disadvantages of these approaches are identified. The second chapter covers practical approaches to managing event projects. An analysis of the methods and practices of event management is presented, a case for the preparation and organization of the IX International Youth Scientific and Practical Conference on Project Management at the Higher School of Economics in the context of all approaches discussed in the first chapter is presented, tools for use in managing events are identified, and recommendations for their application in industry. The result of the study is recommendations for the event industry, which will help event project managers to effectively apply project management methods in their work.
