The present paper investigates the Parisian émigré text of the Russian linguistic culture and reconstructs its semantic composition via analysing the most frequent collocates of language units verbalising the phenomenon of the French capital. The study implements a research method integrating the machine processing of texts in a corpus manager computer program and the semantic analysis of frequently occurring language units as a means to identify unobvious or circumstantial semantic components. City text is viewed as a text invariant of a particular linguistic culture, which exists as a set of interdependent supertextual meanings to be realised in a plethora of texts.
