Improving the Logistics of Production (on the Example of the Enterprise for the Production of Canned Goods)

Competition between manufacturers is carried out by increasing the efficiency of production and related processes. In the modern realities of the "consumer" market, the competition is only becoming fiercer and the issue of increasing efficiency for the manufacturer is more acute than ever. One of the ways to improve the efficiency of a production company is to reduce the cost of production without compromising its quality. Improving production logistics can help achieve this goal by optimizing the movement of material resources, reducing the associated implicit costs, and by expanding the enterprise's ability to launch new capacities. This paper will review the activities of the company "Vladimir cannery", which is a manufacturer of fish conservation, identified problems in its logistics activities and suggested ways to solve them. The object of this work is the logistics of production of LLC "Vladimir cannery". The subject of this work is the configuration of the company's internal logistics infrastructure, as well as the process of supplying raw materials to production. The purpose of the work is to develop proposals for improving the logistics of production of canned goods at the production enterprise LLC "Vladimir cannery". The main tasks in this work are: study of the activities of LLC "Vladimir cannery", in particular, the specialization of products, main customers, financial and economic status, as well as the position on the market; analysis of the logistics activities of the enterprise, especially functions related to the delivery of raw materials to production lines; identification of the main problems of the company's logistics activities; research of theoretical aspects related to logistics at production enterprises; application of the studied methods to solve the identified problems of production logistics; offer solutions to existing problems in the company's business; economic justification of the proposed solutions. The practical significance of this work is to develop specific measures to change the logistics network of the enterprise, which will contribute to the implementation of the company's strategic goals to expand production.
