Improvement of Logistics Processes of a Trading Company

Logistic processes in trading companies play an increasing role in the competitiveness of a company. In order to be a market leader, you must have effective logistics processes. The relevance of the topic is due to the increasing importance of supply chains in the activities of companies. Improving logistics processes will increase the company's competitiveness in the market and will allow it to better respond to consumer requests. The object of research is a trading company. The subject of the study is the logistics processes of a trading company. The purpose of the work is the development of measures to improve the logistics processes of a trading company. To accomplish this, the following tasks were set: • Analysis of the economic activity of the company: o Analysis of the company's position in the market; o Analysis of indicators of economic efficiency of the company; o Analysis of the company's logistics system; • Analysis of the theoretical aspects of improving the logistics processes of a trading company: o Analysis of existing approaches to improving logistics processes; o Analysis of best practices in improving the logistics processes of a trading company; o Development of an algorithm for improving the logistics processes of a trading company; • Improving the logistics processes of a trading company: o Implementation of the proposed approaches to improve the logistics processes of a trading company; o Planning for improvements in logistics processes at the technology level; o Implementation of the proposed solutions to improve the logistics processes of a trading company; o Calculation of economic efficiency from the proposed solutions. The structure of the work corresponds to the tasks and consists of an introduction, three chapters and conclusions. In the introduction, the relevance of the research topic is given, information about the object and subject of the study is given, the purpose of the work and tasks corresponding to this goal are set, the structure of the work is described. The first chapter analyzes in detail the economic activities of the company: analysis of the market situation, analysis of economic indicators of the company, analysis of logistics activities and the problems highlighted in it. The second chapter analyzes the theoretical aspects of improving logistics processes and existing approaches and best practices in this area, and on their basis an algorithm is developed to improve the logistics processes of a trading company. The third chapter carries out the implementation of the proposed approaches, introduces the proposed changes and calculates the economic efficiency of the proposed solutions. In conclusion, the results of the work done are summarized. When writing the work, 30 sources were used, both Russian and foreign, which are listed in the list of sources used. Applications are attached to the work.
