Material flow management is a part of supply chain management and it greatly influences the efficiency of a supply chain. Service companies and service supply chains also must manage flows of different materials despite the specialty of the services. As a means of improving the material flow management performance a company may implement various coordination and cross-functional cooperation techniques. This research paper is dedicated to analyzing the most common complications that service organizations face when managing their material flows and developing a system of logistics coordination measures that are anticipated to advance this process.
