Reputational Models in Crowdfunding Platforms

Reputation plays one of the major roles in the performance of each company. Obtaining good reputation allows firms to get loyal customers, increase revenues and market power whereas bad reputation closes opportunities for growth and development. Some economists suggest that good reputation is the key factor of success for any business. This work examines unique features of crowdfunding market and how they affect reputation of crowdfunding platforms. The goal of this research is to find the optimal strategy of competition and understand which factors are most significant when platform sets its conditions.
