Russian Conditional Constructions As a Radial Category

The research is focused on conditional constructions of Russian language and their radial category. The goal of the research is to investigate how native speakers can distinguish different types of conditional constructions according to their semantics or syntactic forms and which of conditional types is in the center and which of them are on the outliers of the radial category. On this purpose an experiment with 24 conditional constructions was conducted. Based on the results of this experiment the radial category of Russian conditional types was built.
