The "Udarnik" cinema adaptive reuse concept

The research is considered to be realised as the manual album, including historical photos and drafts, architects' drawings, essential quotations and pieces of actual magazines. The book will have a manual function with information about the Moscow cinemas of the Soviet period, including facts about the theory of architecture, cultural mindset over the Soviet time, and also, biographies. There are some special spreads in the book, which dedicated to the archive photos, represented by families, for whom selected objects are memorable and significant places. These pages are about an enormous importance to pay attention to these abandonned areas in order to improve districts for local people and guests.

Student Theses at HSE must be completed in accordance with the University Rules and regulations specified by each educational programme.

The full text of a thesis can be published in open access on the HSE website only if the authoring student (copyright holder) agrees, or, if the thesis was written by a team of students, if all the co-authors (copyright holders) agree. Student theses are objects of copyright and their use is subject to limitations in accordance with the Russian Federation’s law on intellectual property.
