This thesis is devoted to the consideration of the institute of reimbursement of expenses for the services of a representative in civil proceedings. The criteria for the reasonableness of reimbursement of expenses, the composition of expenses for the payment of the representative's services were analyzed. Currently, the civil procedure legislation in the field of reimbursement of expenses is not perfect and requires further development. It seems necessary to establish common criteria for determining the unreasonableness of the expenses for the services of a representative. It was also revealed that at the legislative level, a detailed study of the mechanism for applying the "success fee" is required in practice.
