Analysis of the Development of the Leasing Business in Russia (1992-2020)

This research describes the analysis of the Russian leasing market that was conducted to reflect the current leasing sector situation, especially after the pandemic lockdown by the reason of COVID-19. Furthermore, an analysis of the leasing regulatory framework was conducted. The dynamics of the principal leasing indicators were thoroughly investigated. The strong instrument of the econometrical analysis will be applied to more recent data (including the COVID-19 period) to give some insight into the contemporary leasing industry state: empirical research provides the statistical estimation of relationships between various factors to make the analysis more detailed. The empirical results show the interdependency between the amount of leasing agreements and various factors.
