Statistical Analysis and Modelling of Digital Inequality in Russia and Countries of the World

The development of info-communication technologies and innovations is an integral part of the level of development of a modern economy. Traditionally, the main factors of the country's economic growth are indicators of the growth rate of GDP and GDP per capita, however, the level of development and availability of ICT in modern realities is a factor that also strongly affects economic growth. In this study, an attempt was made to model the digital divide between the countries of the world by constructing the ICT Accessibility Index. Using the principal component analysis, the author's ICT Accessibility Index was developed, and the influence of factors on the value of this index was analyzed using regression analysis. Three groups of countries were identified according to the level of ICT accessibility using the hierarchical clustering method and the k-means method.
