Television in Iran: Development Trends, Current State and Prospects

The author of this paper comprehensively analyses the system of the Iranian television broadcasting system. The story, current state, development trends and prospects. The purpose of this research is to study development trends of Iranian television, current state and prospects. Research objectives: to study the history of the Iranian TV and the media in general, to consider ways of monetization in Iranian TV, legislation, research of the advertising marketing in Iranian television, to study using of the streamline, developing of the internet, specifics of the music industry, conceptions of Islamic management and economy. Iranian television broadcasting system called IRIB is a monopolized state rapidly developing on the general principles of the media and in accordance with the concept of Islamic management. Now it has dynamic development, but some aspects related to the content of TV need modernization. The paper considers legal, historical and financial aspects of the Iranian television. Iranian TV is developing according to national model, at the same time it does not exclude innovations from Western models.
