This creative work presents the concept of creation of the TV script and production of the pilot episode of the animated educational TV series FemSpaceTV that is aimed to popularize women’s contribution to space explorations and to break gender-based stereotypes in this professional field. Prior to the pilot episode’s production preliminary research was conducted. It included an overview of the media texts dedicated to popularization and animation genre, their synergy within educational process, gender studies with representation of gender-based stereotypes in the media, and also examination of the female images in media projects about space. This research became a basis for the TV series’ concept and expert interviews. The pre-production stage included interviews with experts and MVP testing that allowed to prove the chosen topic’s relevance. The outcome of this work is the pilot episode of the animated TV series FemSpaceTV based on the original script.
