It is well known that the childhood period in a person's life lays a big imprint on his future. On the one hand, there are certain biological factors with which a person is born. That factors can affect the success of a person in the future. For example, prenatal testosterone exposure was found to be associated with the level of education in individuals in the future . This is a good example of the influence of biological, largely predetermined, factors on human life. On the other hand, there are certain circumstances that a person directly encounters when growing up, and which will also leave a mark on his life. Health, ecology, a healthy lifestyle is what a person encounters and can control. And it is the influence of such factors that will be investigated in my work. In my research, I will empirically examine the impact of childhood health on an individual's educational outcomes. It is benefits that an individual can derive from healthy childhood. Even though this effect has not yet been studied using Russian data, Russia covers many regions, with different ecology, economic situation, and different levels of medical services. For this reason, it seems that such breadth and versatility can be very revealing.
