Factors Influencing the Country Choice by Technological Startups Going International: A Cross-Case analysis

This master thesis paper provides some useful and appropriate insights about the factors that influence the country choice by technological startups going international. The Master thesis evaluates the existing literature and different approaches for understanding which factors impact the country choice for the firms going international. Additionally, it brings the specifics of technological startups, their needs, and difference from traditional firms and defines the model that applies the most to that kind of firm. The qualitative research in the format of interviews is provided to evaluate the impact of the factors mentioned. As a conclusion there is a revised Two-Step model of factors is provided along with recommendations to the companies as well as for further researches.
