Representation of Belarusian Protest Actions in Russian Internet-media at 2020 Year

This paper examines the representation of Belarusian political protests in 2020 by Russian online media. The relevance of this study is due to the growing role of the Web as a source of news, as well as the various approaches in media coverage of protests. The empirical base of the work are publications in the most popular Russian online media: TASS, RBK, RT and 10 others. The main purpose of this study is to examine the representation of political protests in Belarus by Russian online media using discourse analysis.
