Current research aims to investigate challenges of international M&A in online food delivery service industry that occur due to difference in digital readiness of target company’s country. Previous studies have identified M&A challenges, but current study aims to investigate challenges specifically in online food delivery industry that occur due to difference in digital readiness of target company’s country. Throughout the research based on the secondary data, three challenges have been found, which are: scale operations efficiently, insufficient reach of customers, and understand and adopt to local consumers purchasing behavior. Additionally, regression analysis has been run with the aim to identify the impact of digital readiness of the country on the acquisition price, however due to small sample the impact could not be identified and is a direction for further study.
