The final thesis focuses on the factors leading to synergies in M&A and M&A in entertainment. The author of the work has formulated the concept of international mergers, acquisitions and synergies. Factors that influence the creation of synergies in general, as well as specific factors in entertainment, are also highlighted. The topic has been studied both in theory and in practice, using an international example of corporate acquisition. The first chapter outlines the theoretical aspects of international mergers and acquisitions and the notion of synergy. The second chapter is based on an analysis of the entertainment market. Also, in the second part of the work, the author performs a sequestration analysis, calculates the synergistic effect and calculates the probability of the influence of previously identified factors on the given transaction. The third chapter concludes the main conclusions of the work and in accordance with the prescribed limitations of the recommendations the author gives for similar companies in this field. The idea of the work is to prove the hypothesis proposed by the author in the first chapter.
