Specifics of Business Models Applied by International IT Companies when Entering the Emerging Markets: the Case of Microsoft Corporation in Asia and Africa

During this research the following aspect were analyzed: the concept of business model, specifics of business models of IT companies and specifics of business models of IT companies when entering emerging markets. Based on the literature review, common features in business models were highlighted, and additional analysis of Microsoft Corporation was carried out as an example of the business model of an IT company that enters emerging markets. The result of this research was creation of recommendations for IT companies and their business models when entering emerging markets.
