Forest fires have a devastating impact on the environment and harm human health. It is necessary to prevent forest fires in order not to disrupt the balance of ecosystems in nature. However, in order to fight forest fires, it is necessary to accurately assess the damage they cause and allocate an appropriate amount of resources to fight forest fires. At the present stage, Russian scientists have considered various aspects of this problem, but there is no research that would suggest improving the Russian methodology by applying international experience. This study aims to propose a new system for assessing the economic feasibility of forest fire control based on the successful experience of foreign countries.
