Currently, the activities of waste collection and disposal companies are mainly focused on emptying containers according to pre-approved schedules. At the same time, half-filled containers are emptied, waste disposal facilities are used inefficiently, and excess fuel is consumed. On the contrary, the overflow of garbage cans leads to an increase in unsanitary conditions and a decrease in the level of fire safety. A system for monitoring the level of filling of garbage cans will help to avoid such problems. The system under development is designed for employees of garbage collection companies who will be able to remotely collect data using sensors from rooms with garbage cans in buildings with garbage chutes and quickly make decisions in accordance with the current situation. The volume of the research work is 58 pages, the number of illustrations is 24, the number of tables is 3, and the number of sources used is 38.
