Year of Graduation: 2021

The final qualifying work is devoted to the spatial analysis of the Russian food industry before and after the food embargo. The analysis was carried out using both proprietary data (more than 400 thousand companies) and aggregated data from the Federal State Statistics Service for the period from 2008 to 2020. Preliminary analysis of microdata showed a decrease in the number of active enterprises in the food industry and a change in the trend in the life expectancy of companies. An analysis of the tightness of spatial relationships between territories (subjects of the Russian Federation and municipalities) showed an increase in the years of the embargo of spatial relationships between regions in terms of the volume of output. In terms of the concentration of food industry enterprises, there is a tendency to polarize both the subject of the Russian Federation and municipalities.
