Research of GLONASS Satellite Signals in the Matlab Development Environment

Student: Guschin Dmitriy

Supervisor: Pavel Korolev

Faculty: HSE Tikhonov Moscow Institute of Electronics and Mathematics (MIEM HSE)

Educational Programme: Infocommunication Technologies and Systems (Bachelor)

Year of Graduation: 2021

The object of this work is the GLONASS satellite navigation system. During the study, the signals of the GLONASS satellite system, their types and differences were studied. As a result of the work, a general overview of the GLONASS system was carried out, including a description of the system, system modules, and areas of application of the system. The analysis of various types of GLONASS signals presented in domestic and foreign literature has been carried out. The experience of working in a project team for the development of a system using GLONASS technology is presented. Such types of manipulation as binary phase shift keying and quadrature phase shift keying are investigated. Modeling of the types of manipulation of navigation signals used in the system in the MATLAB development environment has been carried out. A program for constructing the flight path of the GLONASS satellite using the MATLAB programming environment has been developed. The total volume of work is 36 pages, including 11 figures and 3 appendices.
