This study is devoted to the study of patterns of financial flows at the level of regional bodies of the parties of the Russian systemic opposition (KPRF, LDPR and SR). The paper proposes a new optics for studying the phenomenon of parties of "systemic opposition" — financial, the essence of which is to identify clusters of subjects of the Russian Federation for the period 2012-2018 on the basis of available financial statements of regional bodies of parties of systemic opposition. The resulting clusters were meaningfully interpreted, which allowed us to assess not only the patterns of receiving and distributing finance, but also to assess the level of institutionalization of each of the parties
