The development of world trade in agricultural products is under the influence of fundamental changes in the international arena due to the globalization of economic activity. Along with the growing internationalization of economic life and the increasing interdependence of national economies, there continues to be intense competition between suppliers of agricultural products to international markets. The purpose of the study is to determine the main models of participation of the BRICS countries in the world export of agricultural products. The participating countries Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa are the largest producers of agricultural products and provide a third of the world's agricultural production. The climatic and geographical features of these countries allow them to specialize in the production of certain types of agricultural products and meet not only domestic needs, but also export to foreign markets.
