The thorniness of the designation of the type of animation is determined not only by the fact that they tend to be broadcast by all kinds of styles, characteristics and directions, but also by the fact that the animation is synthetic in its structure. It combines layers of artistic skill, literature and acting. The variety of expressive systems, their unpredictable and unique combinations create various synthetic animation techniques. One such technique is rotoscoping. One of the main tasks of the project is to create an animation video that will absorb the uniqueness of this technique. In the course of the work process, a study was carried out in which the evolution, the uniqueness of the technology, and its impact on the visual perception of a person were studied, this made it possible to identify the most appropriate way to use rotomation.
