Research looks at projects that involve communities for its creation. Their authors are engaged in the production of situations, and therefore of relationships and new models of sociality. Community art can act as a catalyst, prompting events or changes within a particular group of people, society, or internationally. The book includes projects that use different strategies to engage particular communities, but all incorporate in the discourse of community art or dialogic art. The study aims to look at the diversity of the way artists work with communities in order to trace certain trends and connect them with social and political change.
