In this era of the Internet, with the popularization of smart shopping, online applications and especially under the present circumstances of pandemic of COVID-19 the demand of delivery services has been significantly increased. The trend of the expansion of the courier services market will continue in the coming years. In this study we set and solved the task of optimizing the process of food delivery using the Travelling Salesman Problem (TSP). The solution to this problem is the optimal time for a courier to wait for the following orders with the further their combination which is the most effective and found by solving the TSP. The model of orders transportation has been created for commercial firm “Food Market” which is located in Perm. An efficient algorithm of finding the best route considers shortening travelled time, optimal distribution of orders between couriers, reducing number of them and, consequently, reduction of major costs.
