This work was devoted to a review of transfer strategies used by football clubs, as well as an analysis of their impact on financial results. The aim of this study was to identify the impact of transfer strategies on the financial performance of professional football clubs. The transfer income of football clubs reflected their financial performance. Data on various financial as well as non-financial indicators were collected from the 2008 to 2020 season. Thus, the conclusion of the work is that the transfer strategies of football clubs in the transfer market have an impact on their financial results. To maximize financial performance, a football club should employ a strategy to attract players based on the position of these clubs in the transfer network, as well as use a strategy to buy players based on their nationality.
