Measurement of the Income and Consumption Inequality

The purpose of this paper is to study the mechanism for measuring inequalities in income and consumption in order to reduce the difference between them. The work used a systemic and integrated approach. For analytical research, the methods of economic analysis, statistical data processing, the index method using basic and chain indices, comparison and comparison methods, as well as the graphical method were used. As a result of this work, I propose ways to reduce inequality in income and consumption in Russia. The work consists of an introduction, two chapters, consisting of three paragraphs, a conclusion.
