In today's world of globalization, the supply chain plays a very important role in supporting the development of international trade and economic growth. The importance of the supply chain planning and design process became especially significant during the COVID-19 pandemic. This paper provides a detailed analysis of various supply chain design methods in a variety of areas. An in-depth analysis of articles by various authors was carried out. In the second chapter, the main directions of the development of the topic of supply chain design before and during the pandemic were highlighted. During the pandemic, logistics supply chains were forced to become more flexible and resilient, and these are the issues that the third chapter of this paper focuses on.
