This graduate qualification work is a study of the issues of qualification and the problems of differentiation of criminal liability for violations of sexual freedom and sexual integrity of the individual. The fight against crimes against sexual freedom and sexual inviolability of the individual is still extremely relevant not only for Russia, but also for the world community as a whole, since this area of crime has a high degree of latency. The danger of sexual assault is determined not only by the negative physical consequences, but also by the destructive role for the victim's psyche. There have been many attempts to eliminate gaps in the work of law enforcement in this area, but at present, some legislative difficulties in qualifying and differentiating responsibility for crimes against sexual integrity and sexual freedom of the individual remain unresolved. It is necessary to improve the quality of criminal legal means to counteract sexual crime, to solve urgent problems of qualification and differentiation of criminal responsibility for sexual assault.
