Foreign Economic Activity as a Factor of Regional Economic Development

This work examines foreign economic activity in general, its features and key factors and how foreign practice in it can be used in Nizhny Novgorod region. The main aim of the research is the development of relevant directions for the improvement of foreign economic activity of Nizhny Novgorod region. Throughout the research the concept of “foreign economic activity” is going to be revealed. The results are expected to highlight strong sides and problems of the existing techniques of studying economic activity. Furthermore, most likely it will be possible to find out the most efficacious steps, which are used in the practice of Russian and foreign regions, that will help foreign economic activity of Nizhny Novgorod to grow and to develop.
