Assessing the impact of the Pandemic on Small and Medium-Sized Businesses in the Large City (the Case of St. Petersburg)

The work is devoted to the formation of a methodological approach to assessing the impact of the pandemic on small and medium-sized businesses in the large city. The study reveals the theoretical foundations and formed the methodological support of the study, developed and tested a comprehensive methodological approach to assessing the impact of the pandemic on small and medium-sized enterprises in St. Petersburg. The methodological approach consists in using three components: statistical analysis, correlation-regression analysis, sociological research in the form of online survey. Based on the results, recommendations were formed on the implementation of the author's methodology and assessing the impact of the pandemic on small and medium-sized businesses in St. Petersburg in the form of a roadmap. The results of approbation of the methodology made it possible to formulate proposals for the restoration of the small and medium-sized business in St. Petersburg, which was affected by the pandemic COVID-19.
