The Use of Machine Learning Algorithms to Minimize Credit Risk for Individuals

Credit risk assessment is one of the most important areas of activity of financial institutions. Against the backdrop of the development of computing power, new models with better performance appear. However, they face a problem of transparency. In this project proposal, this and all the other major issues of the field are stated with the different methods to overcome them. The research will present a brief explanation of the most used models, metrics to measure their performance, and implementation guideline.
