Analysis and Forecasting of Plastic Cards Market Volumes in the Russian Federation

Currently, the plastic card is in great demand in most developed countries, as it has long become an integral part of trade and services. The aim of this work is to forecast the development of the plastic card market in Russia in the next three years. This study will consider the history and types of plastic cards, characteristics of bank plastic cards and the regulatory framework in the field of the bank plastic cards market. The research will analyze the dynamics of the development of the plastic cards market, the problems of growth and functioning of the plastic cards market in Russia, carry out an analysis of the foreign and Russian markets of plastic cards. The analysis will allow predicting the volume of the plastic card market in the next three years using the statistical package for Windows - Excel. This work can be interesting and useful for subjects of payment systems, used as an overview material covering the current state of the plastic card market.
