Faculty: St.Petersburg School of Economics and Management

Educational Programme: Logistics and Supply Chain Management (Bachelor)

Year of Graduation: 2021

Effective development of the Internet of Things in distribution networks is impossible without preliminary development of management recommendations. The lack of recommendations is especially acute in the medical industry, so a key goal of the research is to formulate recommendations for improving the distribution efficiency of a medical company as well as to determine indicators that fully reflect the value of the positive economic effect. The research will be based on the most relevant to the topic under Russian and foreign scientific literature and will include theoretical and empirical research methods, where empiricism will be carried out through pre-graduation practice at the analyzed enterprise «Medimcom» LLC. As a result of the study, it was expected to develop recommendations for the implementation of the Internet of Things for the selected medical company and develop metrics that will fully reflect the economic effect of the application of the proposed technologies.
