Developing an Approach for Scenario Design and Economic Value Assessment of IOT Technologies Exploitation within Industrial Enterprises

The digitalization of production inevitably leads to changes in enterprises. The introduction of new information systems will inevitably make adjustments to the organizational structure, technological structure and will clearly affect the economic performance of the organization. In particular, IoT technologies, namely ExT temperature sensors, which are used in industrial enterprises, including the Sibur company, have become the main object of study in this work. In the course of the study, a formalized application scenario was built based on the existing case of using ExT temperature sensors, including an assessment of economic efficiency. To achieve this result, the assigned tasks were completed, in addition, in Chapter 3, the limitations of the application and the practical value of this work were additionally formulated. The script itself included a certain sequence of steps and many methodologies, such as BPMN notation, through which the source and target process was demonstrated, and ArchiMate notation, the tools of which made it possible to display the technological architecture within the case. In the course of calculating the economic effect by the NPV indicator, the result obtained confirmed the profitability of the technology under study.
