The subject of this paper is the mutual perceptions of young people in Germany and Russia. The main material of this work is the interviews of Russian and German students, on the basis of which the conversation was analyzed in order to identify the main models and images of the countries. The relevance of the topic of this research is determined by the problem of self-identification and perceptions of each other of the modern generation. It is assumed that due to globalization, images of countries are formed not only through stereotypes broadcast in the media.
