The relevance of the research of glampings based on the growing demand for unusual types of tourism, unique accommodation facilities and non-typical locations. Glampings have recently appeared in Russia, but are becoming more and more popular. The aim of the research is to create a financial model for the investment project of glamping in the Russian region based on the study of potential consumers. The objectives of the research were: to analyze glampings as a new type of placement, conduct a marketing research by questioning through Google forms to identify respondents' interest in living in glamping and the factors that are most valuable when choosing glamping, develop a financial model for an investment project to open glamping. For a detailed understanding of what glamping is, foreign scientific literature was studied, then a survey was compiled based on it, which was spread through social networks like a snowball using a google form. A total of 385 respondents took part in it. Further, the results were analyzed, a portrait of a Russian tourist interested in glamping was built, factors and wishes were identified that would convince to have a rest in this particular accommodation facility. Based on the conducted marketing analysis, a number of assumptions were made for the financial model. On their basis, calculations were carried out, reporting forms (Balance Cash, P&L, Cash Flow Statement) were drawn up and economic efficiency indicators were calculated (NPV, PI, IRR, PP, DPP). The glamping project is economically viable, pays off in up to 3 years. All hypotheses that were formulated for the research were confirmed.
