Business Implications of Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality

This final qualifying work is aimed at considering the topic : «The use of virtual and augmented reality in business». The main purpose of the study is to substantiate the role of virtual and augmented reality technologies in business. To achieve this goal, the following tasks were set: 1. To study the essence of virtual and augmented reality. 2. Determine the role of the development of these categories within the framework of business. 3. Determine the specifics, criteria and advantages of using virtual reality technologies in business. 4. Analyze foreign and domestic experience in using virtual reality technologies. 5. To identify the problems of using virtual reality technologies. 6. To develop recommendations for the implementation of virtual reality technologies in the activities of domestic trade enterprises at the regional level. This work will consist of an introduction, main part, which, in turn, includes 3 chapters, conclusion and a list of literary sources. The first chapter will consider the essence of virtual and augmented reality technologies, as well as the specifics of the application of these technologies at the present stage. The second chapter will be aimed at analyzing the modern experience of using VR and AR technologies in business, both foreign and domestic. In the third chapter, the problems of application and the prospects for the application of this technology in business at the present stage will be touched upon. Also, recommendations will be developed for the implementation of technology in the activities of domestic companies in the regional market. In conclusion, conclusions will be presented on the work done. And at the very end, a list of used literary sources will be provided. The result of this work will be an analysis of the collected statistics and an overview of acceptable options for the development of VR and AR technologies in business.
