The article examines the optimizing process logistics system of interaction between the buyer and the supplier. A large number of studies have appeared on this topic since the 1970s. This is due to the fact that large corporations have realized that in order to optimize costs, they need to shift some of their non-core production to third-party contractors. New research papers are devoted to the selection of criteria for finding the best supplier and evaluating it. However, there are few works that would address such an important issue as maintaining relationships over time. Thus, the study's aim is to develop an optimal logistics system for interaction with suppliers in tactical and strategic planning. To achieve this goal, it is necessary to study the existing literature, educational and professional literature on the supply logistics topic, identify the main tasks related to supplier management, key criteria for supplier selection as well as existing models and methods. The studied optimization methods will be implemented in the work on the example of a furniture organization. As a result of the study, a number of recommendations will be developed, the application of which can contribute to reducing costs in the supply field, as well as building strong partnerships with suppliers.
