Methods and Adaptation of Translation of Intertextual Elements (Case Study «Suits» Series)

This paper attempts to find the problem of translation of intertext and intertextual elements in audiovisual works on the example of the series Suits. The relevance of this work lies in the large number of audiovisual materials which are provided in media now. This paper explores the concept of intertextuality, as well as methods of translation transformations. The study of these two aspects is important in order to analyze the intertextual techniques that fill the series and to consider methods for solving translation problems. The expected results of the study are to find out what types of intertextuality are most common, consider the difficulties in translating them, and also try to solve this problem.
