The Influence of Spatial Mobility on the Professional Career of Sociologist

The work was devoted to the study of the influence of territorial movements on professional careers. The subjects of the biography related to the moves were considered. The study was conducted within the framework of a biographical approach based on the analysis of biographical interviews of sociologists from the archive of B. Z. Doktorov. The paper identifies and reveals the main reasons for moving sociologists, defines the specifics of moving for professional generations. The influence of territorial mobility on professional career was determined through the subjective perception and description of the move by sociologists themselves.
