Force Majeure Circumstances under the Legislation of the Russian Federation

In the modern legal space of Russian Federation, a large amount of attention is directed to the problems of establishing force majeure circumstances. Their other name is force majeure circumstances as types of circumstances that exempt the parties from liability for non-compliance with the terms of the contract. The study examined in detail the questions of force majeure circumstances, analyzed the evaluation categories that classify such circumstances as extraordinary and unpredictable under specific conditions. Special attention is paid to the problem of recognizing the circumstance of the coronavirus COVID-19 as a force majeure.
