This dissertation was aimed at conducting a cross-country comparison of the impact of socio-demographic and personal characteristics on the success of entrepreneurial activity. To achieve this goal, the Global Entrepreneurship Monitoring project was used. In the theoretical chapter, approaches to the concept of entrepreneurial activity, business success were presented, as well as potential factors affecting the success of entrepreneurial activity were identified. The author's classification of potential factors influencing the success of entrepreneurial activity was presented. In the empirical part, the conceptual model of the study, the stages of sample formation, as well as the results of the conducted studies were presented.
