A Primary Healthcare Organisation for Children: Current State, New Challenges, Prospects of Development

The preservation of children's health is one of the most important priorities of the state policy of Russia. The purpose of the work is to study the current state, problems and prospects of development of primary health care for children in Russia. The paper presents a model of the organization of primary health care for children in Russia, analysis and interpretation of statistical data on staffing, technical equipment of children's polyclinics. Some indicators of the quality and accessibility of medical care for children are presented. It is shown that eliminating the personnel shortage, equipping with modern equipment, and implementing the principles of lean production will help to increase the availability and quality of primary medical care for children.
