Faculty: Saint-Petersburg School of Social Sciences

Educational Programme: Public Policy and Analytics (Bachelor)

Year of Graduation: 2021

The graduation paper entitled “Adaptation of the labor market to the consequences of a pandemic Covid-19” (as exemplified by the city of Saint-Petersburg) is devoted to the study of changes in the labor market which have occurred over the pandemic. The changes were studied by segmenting the labor market and the job market. The analysis of segments was divided into two periods: before the pandemic and after the reduction of morbidity. This has enabled us to identify structural changes and clusters outlining the main characteristics of representatives. As a result of the study, measures were proposed aimed at improving the state regulation of the regional market. Organizational and management tools for enhancing the regulation of the labor market were formed. The prospective lines of development were modeled, based on data on structural changes. Keywords: labor market, covid-19 pandemic, labor market segmentation, cluster analysis, labor market adaptation
