Educational Programme: Computer Systems and Networks (Master)

Year of Graduation: 2021

This work is aimed at studying the design features of corporate networks using the IEEE 802.11 ax standard, as well as identifying the main technological aspects that affect the efficiency of the data transmission network. The first chapter of the presented research reveals the innovations implemented in the latest IEEE 802.11 ax wireless data transmission standard, namely, key solutions that increase the bandwidth of access points, the data transfer rate for devices, the quality of service and the number of serviced devices in the wireless LAN, and reduce interference for Access Point. The second chapter describes the main stages and features of designing a network that uses the IEEE 802.11 ax standard. The methodology of network planning by radio survey is described. It reveals how the innovations implemented in this standard affect the design process. In the third chapter, the results of the study are presented, reflecting the features in the design of wireless local data networks caused by the use of technologies and functions of the latest IEEE 802.11 ax standard. In the course of the work, 33 sources of technical literature were used. The text of the work has a volume of 74 pages, including 33 figures, 2 graphs and 6 tables.

Student Theses at HSE must be completed in accordance with the University Rules and regulations specified by each educational programme.

Summaries of all theses must be published and made freely available on the HSE website.

The full text of a thesis can be published in open access on the HSE website only if the authoring student (copyright holder) agrees, or, if the thesis was written by a team of students, if all the co-authors (copyright holders) agree. After a thesis is published on the HSE website, it obtains the status of an online publication.
