THE SUMMARY The degree work on a subject: «Main priorities of government support to investment activities in the innovative sector in the Russian Federation» is devoted to identifying the main shortcomings of the system in the field of financing innovative development. The sources of innovation financing in the Russian Federation are indicated. Statistical data on problems in the field of innovation financing are presented. The main priorities of the government support of innovative development are defined. Statistical data are processed using multiple regression and cluster analysis methods. The results of the analysis are attached. Recommendations have been developed for state authorities to overcome the identified problems in the innovation sphere.
